1. How statement analysis works

MoneyTools is designed so that statement analysis happens locally in your browser. Your PhonePe CSV/Pdf, Google Pay (GPay) PDF, supported bank statement file, and any password you enter for that file are used locally on your device to generate summaries and charts. We do not upload statement files to our servers for analysis.

2. Information you choose to provide

If you contact us by email or submit the feedback form, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address, and any message or attachments you choose to send. Please avoid sending full financial statements, passwords, OTPs, or other highly sensitive information through feedback or contact channels unless it is strictly necessary.

3. Technical and operational data

Like most websites, limited technical information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers when you visit the site. This can include information such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, request paths, and basic diagnostic or security logs. We do not use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising in the core statement-analysis experience. We use limited product analytics, such as basic interaction and error events, to understand whether features are working and where the product needs improvement. We do not intentionally send statement files, statement contents, passwords, OTPs, or parsed transaction results to analytics tools.

4. Third-party services and content

Some parts of the site may rely on third-party services. For example, our feedback flow opens a Google Form, and some blog or media content may load through third-party hosting providers. If you choose to use those pages or services, those providers may receive technical request data or any information you voluntarily submit to them, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Storage and retention

We do not retain statement files or parsing results from the local analysis flow. However, information you send through email, feedback forms, or other support channels may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share statement files or parsed statement results from the local analysis flow. We may use service providers to operate the website, receive feedback, deliver content, process basic analytics or diagnostic events, secure the service, or comply with legal requirements. Those providers may process limited technical or support information, such as browser or device data, request logs, or information you voluntarily submit through email or feedback forms.

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to reduce risk and align the service with a local-first model. That said, no website, browser environment, or third-party service can guarantee absolute security. You remain responsible for how you use the service and what information you choose to submit outside the local parsing flow.

8. Children's privacy

MoneyTools is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date.
